The Recreated Royal Fusiliers

The Recreated Company
The 2d Co’y, 7th Regt.of Foot (Royal Fusiliers), was formed in 2002 and is a not for profit organization created to accurately portray an 18th Century British Army Line Regiment in service during the revolt of the American Colonies.

As an organization, we are conscientiously recreating the 2nd Company as it was in Lord General Cornwallis’ Army during the southern campaign of the Revolution of the American Colonies in the 18th Century. By our conduct, mien and appearance, bring honour and credit to the memory of those real soldiers and regimental distaff personnel whose deeds and lives we are seeking to recreate. By our actions bring credit to the present day Royal Regiment of Fusiliers with whom we share an ancestral bond.

By our diligence, and adherence to historical fact, develop the finest, professional 18th Century British Line Company of a Regiment possible. Through our pursuit for authenticity, and our exercise of the martial arts of the 18th Century British soldier, develop an organization for the members’ and public’s enjoyment and education.
